It seems fairly clear that the New California Republic is on a barely popular war of expansion to take the Dam and New Vegas and everything else in the region. I think it's like comparing Vietnam or Korea to World War Two to be honest. A serious conflict to be sure, but not a mortal one. The War in the Mojave, all things considered, seems to be a major brushfire war. The New California Republic can probably take this. Even having the NCR in control of Vegas would likely be preferable to having the Enclave in control of it.ДЄnd I have to agree. There is no chance for House to engage in his own vision for New Vegas. The Enclave would subordinate House if they win and House would be made to do their bidding. They have a population base and relatively stable economy that no one else does which can help fuel his future vision of New Vegas. House was taking a gamble in using the Courier as his Lieutenant after all)ДЄnd the NCR, hostile or not, would be a far better ally then the Enclave. How confident is House when the odds aren't nearly as much in his favor then. They are a lot more familiar with technology then the NCR is and have massive access to prewar archives and records. House is smart enough to realize that the Enclave are a worse option and that his gambit of upgraded Securitrons being his ace in the hole is a risky as hell venture if he chooses to ally with the Enclave only to backstab them when they are no longer needed. House clearly wasn't willing to subordinate himself to the NCR and yet we think he'll make an 'alliance' against them with the Enclave. House, I sincerely doubt, thinks he's smart enough to outwit the Enclave when their forces are patrolling the streets and their vertibirds are flying over the Mojave. If the Enclave move in, the Enclave will be the ones controlling Vegas and Mr. I mean House doesn't want the NCR destroyed because the NCR is a proper nation that will fuel the technocratic state that Mr.

the Enclave are even worse in how xenophobic, intolerant and sectarian they are. They are technologically progressive in some respects, and while they are both similar in things like arrogance, elitism and autocratic. Why would House make an alliance with the Enclave? Also, despite being 'genetically pure', he's a dried up near-corpse, and the Enclave might not trust his robot scheme. The only problem is that their white picket fence vision of America might not fit in with House's view of Vegas. I think that House would probably try to ally with them, what with his pre-war nostalgia and focus on technological development.

The only way they could mess this up is by trying to take out everyone at once. All of the other factions are tangled with each other-the Enclave would be an OCP.

The Enclave would arguably be the strongest faction in terms of forces committed (remember that the NCR and Legion have troops elsewhere that are gradually being shifted to the Mojave). Legionaries would quickly learn to fear plasma-spewing Enclave infantry more than their overgrown general. Unlike the EC Brotherhood, their strongholds are sitting on the tops of hills, begging for a vertibird fly-by followed by an armored mop-up. they're demonstrably weak against Enclave-level enemies (see: ending slides). The NCR is having severe trouble supplying its frontline bases and striking back against Legion attacks-it's not going to be able to deal with squadrons of armed vertibirds dropping well-equipped, well-trained Enclave troopers and Deathclaws in important places. The Enclave could do whatever they damn well pleased, initially.
